The first piece of content I ever published. The one that started everything.

I was in my final year of engineering school, on a work-study program, and I felt completely out of place. I needed more, something that made me feel alive. I had always wanted to make films, so I gave myself a challenge: shoot a cinematic video on a family trip to Egypt, post it on YouTube, and see what it would do for me.

I bought an old Lumix GH5 that couldn’t even shoot in log, so every shot is straight out of the camera, no grading. An old GoPro lying around at home covered the face-camera shots.

I landed in Egypt with no script and no storyline: I just wanted to film, and finally let the artist in me come out.

In this video, I tell how that trip changed my life by waking up who I really am: the kid who grew up watching Jay Alvarez, Sam Kolder and Man vs. Wild, all those guys living crazy adventures and insane lives, and all the films and videos that gave me the chills, the goosebumps, the emotion. I had always dreamed of chasing that. Out there, filming, editing and creating something that somehow looked like what they made, I felt completely aligned. I had found it, behind the camera.

What was meant to be a test started the whole story, and it is the reason you are reading this today.
